We have just had a delicious lunch in Barnards. We have lived within walking distance for 6months and kept meaning to go in and we were certainly not dissapointed. The restaurant is cosy and has lovely views of Denmead church with a nice seating area out back also. We had the fish and chips and the beef pie which were super tasty with excellent fresh vegetables. I also had a locally brewed ale which was great too. The staff were also very polite. We will definitely be back.

Visited Barnards for breakfast this morning. Good food well presented and reasonably priced in a lovel warm restaurant (a very cold morning). Friendly, helpful staff.
